I began my career over 33 years ago as a carpenter, learning the trade from the ground up. Working on the tools taught me the value of quality workmanship, attention to detail and the responsibility that comes with building something people will rely on for decades.
In 1999, I established my first company, Co-Derrim Carpentry. What began as a small operation grew into a team delivering both commercial and residential projects. Through those years I learned that great building is about far more than construction, it is about leadership, trust and the responsibility of bringing a vision to life.
Working closely with trades, architects, engineers, suppliers and council authorities taught me that successful projects are built on clear communication, strong relationships and an unwavering commitment to doing things properly.
Those lessons and experiences ultimately led to the creation of Vinmac Constructions in 2008, built on the belief that quality workmanship, discipline and integrity should be the foundation of every project.
Today, Vinmac is a fully licensed building company specialising in high-quality residential and commercial projects, including renovations, extensions, new homes and project management. We take a hands-on approach to every project, ensuring our clients receive honest advice, reliable execution and workmanship that stands the test of time.
